Living the Life I Intended: A conversation on hope, healing, and the mind-body connection

As a USC physical therapist specializing in oncology rehabilitation, Dr. Marisa Perdomo has spent her career improving the lives of others who must cope with the toxicities of cancer and its treatment. Now, Marisa shares her own compelling story as a longtime survivor of both Hodgkin lymphoma and breast cancer, as well as her personal strategies to adapt, persevere and find resilience during and after cancer. Marisa will also discuss the unique and creative roles that physical therapy, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, and “exercise as medicine” have played in promoting her own optimal health and wellness. Please join us for this special event!

Ten free copies of the book Resilient by Rick Hanson, PhD will be raffled off to attendees.
