The mission of the USC-IIH is to promote the health and healing of individuals, families, and communities we serve through the advancement of the practice of integrative health, the science upon which it is based, and the education of healthcare practitioners and the USC community.

To transform healthcare by establishing a collaborative, holistic paradigm that promotes health and healing and integrates all aspects of human life: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, cultural, social, and environmental.

Wellness Programs

promote health

Our group offers a variety of programs to help you improve yourself. We have walking programs for those with Parkinson’s disease, ____, acupuncture, diet, etc.

Our USC researchers think outside the box and look at many aspects of health.

Some of our affiliated researchers include Marc J. Weigensberg MD, who has shown a promising group intervention for young adults with T1D going through transition to adult care. As well as Rael Cahn, PhD, who studies the effect of engaging with an intensive yoga and meditation retreat as it relates to well-being.

The Keck School of Medicine of USC

Emphasizes health and well-being among its aspiring doctors, countering the traditionally grueling medical school experience.
