Learn about disaster recovery and healing after wildfires from two field experts. The discussion will cover the basic neurobiology of how climate change impacts mental health and well-being, and what resilience looks like in the face of disasters such as wildfires. In this symposium, you will learn principles of psychological first aid, evidence-based practices for disaster recovery, and how to better care for your own well-being. You will leave will tools and resources for working with climate emotions and ideas on how to take meaningful action on climate issues.
